Bohol is a 1st provincial income class island province of the Philippines located in the Central Visayas region, consisting of the island itself and 75 minor surrounding islands. Its capital is Tagbilaran. With a land area of 4,821 km (1,861 sq mi) and a coastline 261 km (162 mi) long, Bohol is the tenth largest island of the Philippines.

TAGBILARAN

Tagbilaran, officially the City of Tagbilaran, is a 3rd class city and capital of the province of BoholPhilippines. Encompassing a land area of 32.7 km (12.6 sq mi), with a coastline of 13 km (8.1 mi) on the southwestern part of the island, the city shares its boundaries with the towns of CortesCorella, and Baclayon. DAO

Dao is a barangay in the city of Tagbilaran, in the province of Bohol. Dao is situated at approximately 9.6687, 123.8690, in the island of Bohol. Elevation at these coordinates is estimated at 50.7 meters or 166.3 feet above mean sea level.

SAGBAYAN

Sagbayan, officially the Municipality of Sagbayan, is a 4th class municipality in the province of BoholPhilippines. Sagbayan means "place for hanging", coming from the root word sagbay, which means "to hang" and referred to the practice of hanging deer hides on trees to dry after hunting expeditions.

DANAO

According to the Diccionario Español-Bisaya (1866), danao means charca, lago, laguna, pantano, estanque grande, avenida, campañas, etc. (lake, lagoon, freshet, large reservoir, arable land, field, etc.). Except that of a lake, all definitions of danao describe the municipality of Danao, with freshet being the most likely meaning. A freshet is either a sudden rise or overflow of a stream or river, or freshwater stream emptying into the sea. The Isumod river flowing near the town center of Danao may suddenly overflow and inundate a large portion of the town. The river joins the Wahig river and empties into the sea.

TUBIGON 

Located 51 kilometres (32 mi) from Tagbilaran, it is the nearest seaport in Bohol to Cebu, providing many daily ferry round-trips to Cebu City. It has recently expanded its seaport to accommodate additional sea traffic. Tubigon is well known for its "lambay" crabs. The town of Tubigon, Bohol celebrates its feast on May 10, to honor the town patron San Isidro Labrador.

TALIBON 

It is located 115 kilometres (71 mi) from Tagbilaran. Talibon is the seat of the diocese of Talibon and is the resident town of the bishop. The town of Talibon, Bohol celebrates its feast on the last Saturday of May, to honor the town patron the Blessed Trinity.

ANDA

Anda, officially the Municipality of Anda, (CebuanoLungsod sa AndaTagalogBayan ng Anda), is a 5th class municipality in the province of BoholPhilippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 16,462 people. In 2006, the Anda red hermatite print petroglyphs of Bohol were included in the tentative list of the Philippines for UNESCO World Heritage Site under the name of Petroglyphs and Petrographs of the Philippines, which also includes the Singnapan charcoal-drawn petrographs of southern Palawan, Angono Petroglyphs of Rizal province, Alab petroglyphs of Mountain province, and charcoal-drawn Penablanca petrographs of Cagayan.

CALAPI

Located 41 kilometres (25 mi) north of Tagbilaran, the first settlers of Calape were said to be migrants from Cebu, and from other municipalities of Bohol. Its name is derived from cape, referring to either a species of rattan or to the local varietal of coffee, Kape Barako, both of which still grow abundantly there to this day.

PANGLAO

It is one of two municipalities that make up Panglao Island (the other being Dauis). Panglao is known for its diving locations and tourist resorts.[7]
The name Panglao may have come from its former name Panglawod, meaning "to the open sea",[8] or derived from the word panggaw, referring to a fishing implement used by locals.[9]

SEVILLA 

Sevilla, officially the Municipality of Sevilla, (CebuanoLungsod sa SevillaTagalogBayan ng Sevilla), is a 5th class municipality in the province of Sevilla (Philippines)[*]Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 10,661 people. The town of Sevilla, Bohol celebrates its fiesta on December 12, in honor of the patron saint Our Lady of Guadalupe.

LOBOC

 Located 25 kilometres (16 mi) east of Tagbilaran, Loboc is known for its lunch cruises along the scenic and winding Loboc River. Tourists also come to see the tarsier, a small nocturnal animal with large red eyes. It is one of the world's smallest primates. The Loboc Children's Choir has won numerous competitions both domestic and international.

CARMEN 

Carmen, officially the Municipality of Carmen, (CebuanoLungsod sa CarmenTagalogBayan ng Carmen), is a 2nd class municipality in the province of BoholPhilippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 46,306 people. The town of Carmen, Bohol celebrates its fiesta on January 10, to honor the town patron Saint Anthony de Abbot.

BILAR 

Bilar, officially the Municipality of Bilar, (CebuanoLungsod sa BilarTagalogBayan ng Bilar), is a 4th class municipality in the province of BoholPhilippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 17,590 people. The town of Bilar, Bohol celebrates its fiesta on May 15, to honor the town patron Saint Isidore the Farmer.
