GUADALUPE PEAK DAY HIKE CLIMB, CEBU

You may not image at the heart City of Cebu  you can still see the beauty of nature surrounded by forest trees. at the end park of Guadalupe they still have a place covered of mountain forest. this place is cool for a short trail walking.

Paninghoton jud ka pag-ayo labi na wa na kay kat-kat.......tagaktak ang imo singot......

Its was raining morning when me and my brother decided to have a short day hike climb at Guadalupe point area.this is my 1st time here in Guadalupe peak to climb my brother been here 3 times already way back before, we just follow the trail and get lost. kay dugay naman kaayo to na nakabalik siya diri.....daghan nay changes.....

Going here may take a lot of effort specially if your body is not in condition.( no practice ) alone the way you may encounter houses and then by a few hours walk boom welcome mountain forest.

 It may take you at least one hour to reach the point over here....the over looking view of the city of Cebu.

From here take a rest for awhile enjoy the scenery and then walk again.

Actually our main plan is to reach the river side of Guadalupe but because of the circumstances its raining and my shoes is not for climbing we decided to cut the plan for our safety purposes. 

Along the way you may encounter a lot of fruits tree from Santol, cacao, coconut, papaya, mango,star apple, iba ( sa amo lugar ang name is IBA in Cebu i don't know ), and a lot more.

If you are in the trail hike kung makakita og tindahan mag laway ka kanunay sa super cold soft drinks. parniran og tinapay na karaan bisaya na midyo gahi....

Rest gamay......snack sah sa gipalit na super cold na soft drink.

Then, continue walking again.

And again..........

At around 1:30pm we ended up hiking at the forest mountain of Guadalupe ( we start at 8am ). then we decided to take our lunch. buy some cooked food kay naay tindahan na magluto og sudan nah....

 Then, lakaw na pod going to the highway.

Along the way you may encounter this beautiful flowers.

Then, at 3:30pm the day hike end. drop off at Guadalupe public market buy some foods.

 THINGS TO CONSIDER:

---Hike with in condition.

---Wear proper shoes / shirt / pants

---Bring water with you

---Bring power bars

---Always have an extra precaution

SEA OF CLOUDS, BOHOL

Sea of clouds Bohol is located at Laguna Hills Brgy. Conception Danao Bohol. Sea of clouds is a newly found tourist attraction in Bohol.

The moment i heard about Sea of cloud in Danao Bohol, i got excited and decided to hit it on my bucket list to reach the area because it is so near in Cebu when it comes to time travel and at an affordable cost.

HOW TO GET THERE

---It was almost perfect timing when we decided to reach Danao for the sea of clouds experience..the night before our plan i already contact Mr. Dodoy my habal-habal driver in Bohol. Mr. dodoy and I decided to meet up at 3am at Barangay Macaas to reach Danao area at around 5am ( time travel from Tubigon to Danao 1.5 hours or 2 hours via habal-habal ) time travel computation is just on time to reach the sun rise...and clouds formation ( if ever the sun ray comes out and the clouds coordinate to the wind perfectly )

----If your from Tubigon just hired a Habal-habal at Mc donald area..and coordinate well the rate fare going to Danao...

----THINGS TO CONSIDER----

----1st----In going here you should consider at must the weather condition because no clouds will appear the moment the weather is not good enough ( just what happened to us ...its just a mini clouds welcome us maybe the clouds is too shy to wave to us back ) 

----2nd----The mode of transportation ( i suggest to hired a habal-habal to reach the area )

---We arrive at the area around 4:30am

---1st thing to do is to log in at there log book guest

----2nd short orientation ( pros and cos ) by the tour guide Mr. Manuel

 ---Then proceed to the trek ( 1 hour or less trek going to the peak )

we start trekking  at around 5am ( the thrill is 600 meters you may encounter 4 station along the way for resting area )

---Prepared yourself for more on ascend trek ( i suggest to bring with you some power bar to power up your spirit )

---along the way you may encounter cow

----1st station catching up our breath...( 5-10 minutes break )

----Then continue for the trek

---2nd station ( again rest for awhile )

---3rd station

----Last station with the view....

----Arrival at the peak at 5:20am ( perfect time to catch the sun rise is between 5:30am to 7am )

---While waiting for the clouds....taking photo's at the surrounding...

---We waiting and wait and wait for the clouds to come out....

---And another waiting moment.....( kay dugay kaayo nipakita an clouds......mini clouds pa man an nitunga....because of the wind according to the tour guide mao di maka.form an clouds og bou. )

---Then some guest are coming....crowded at the peak but still we are all waiting for the clouds to appear...

---And the moment of truth ......i think this is not our lucky day today kay nauwaw kaayo sa amoa ang clouds og pakita...mini ra gihapon an nigawas.....i think i should be going back here to witness the sea of clouds as they are saying maybe next time....till we meet again my dear sea of clouds.

---But then again its a nice experience reaching the peak with your love one...( buttom line enjoy ra man gihapon ) riding early in the morning just to reach you is the best. ( basta next time magpakita nka namo og nindot huh.........i will count on you sea of clouds Danao Bohol )

PROS AND CONS 

----Wear comfortable shoes or slipper

---Bring water with you....( you will definitely needed )

---Bring power bar ( chocolate, candy,etc. )

---Bring jacket for protection

----The area has no restaurant to serve your food they only have a mini store. i suggest to at least bring a food with you.

---Food ( crackers / cup noodles ) Php60

---Transportation Php500

---At the peak

---Going up ( unique bamboo steps )

----The way...
