HELPFUL TIPS IN CAMPING ( WHAT TO DO / WHAT TO BRING )



MOUNTAIN ARE FREE..............

HERE ARE MY SIMPLE TIPS:


----Waterproof all your stuff ( rap all your stuff with plastic bag and put it on a waterproof bag, this is in preparation for rain encounter so that all your things are secured. )

----bring your first aid ( always bring first aid kit where ever you go for emergency purposes ) for headache, muscle pain, cough ,flu, diarrhea, insect repellent, in ointment or capsule.

-----climb with permit ( proper permission to the barangay's personnel ) and with medical clearance with your doctor that you are fit to climb.

-----Camp on a designated campsite ( for safety purposes always obey your guide personnel where to camp )

-----When hiking, stay on the designated trails ( always and always follow and obey the instructions of your guide )

----Be respectful of the natural environment ( be kind to the nature )

----clean your campsite before leaving ( dispose your waste properly )

----plan ahead and prepare yourself ( planning is very important when climbing followed by preparing yourself. prepared yourself by exercising ( biking /  running ) to measured your endurance. trained or condition yourself a minimum of  2 months preparation )

DON'T

-----Never use nails and wires on the trees
----take nothing but pictures
----kill nothing but time

RECOMMENDED DESTINATIONS


THINGS TO BRING

---back pack ( at least 10 kilos ) depending on your body weight capacity but i suggest to bring bag that you are comfortable with and always go light with your packing system.

----tent / with rain fly

---kikay kit ( hygiene ) toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, lotion, dental pulse, deodorant, cotton buds, mount wash. i suggest for small pack content or refillable items.  

----sleeping bag ( to comfort yourself from the temperature )

----wipes ( wet / dry ) for your personal necessity 

----spoon / pork / cup / plate

---gloves ( at least 2 pair for wet and dry )

-----stove / butane gas

-----cook-set ( for cooking purposes )

----trail jacket / jacket that can comfort you from weather

----trail pants / short


----candles / matches ( in case of emergency )

----extra batteries

----energy food / drink ( to boost your endurance energy )

----blooder / water ( at least 2 liters ) to keep you hydrated

----multi-tool / knife ( for emergency purposes )

---head lamp / flashlight ( to give you light along the trail )

---walking stick ( for comfort purposes )

----emergency blanket ( for emergency purposes )

----first aid kit / insect repellent ( for emergency purposes )

----whistle ( in case of emergency you can use this to give signal )

---rain protection ( to comfort you from the temperature )

----extra clothes

----camera ( highly advise to bring all the way )

-----identification I.D ( very important to bring with you for identification purposes )

----bandana ( for sunlight protection )

----sandals / slipper

----shades ( for sunlight protection )

----long sleeves polo / shirt ( quick dry )

----long socks ( 2 pair ) for trail and for sleeping

-----hat / cap ( for sunlight protection )

----trail shoes ( comfortable trail shoes )

WHAT / BRING TO EAT DURING CLIMBING?


---in can goods ( sardines, corn beef, tuna, sausages, ) i suggest to buy in a pouch size
---dries sea food ( fish, squid )
----Chocolate / biscuit / energy drink
